The Centre for Leadership Performance's Dream Placement is an award-winning collaborative programme. It provides young people across Cumbria with potentially life-changing opportunities to spend the February half-term learning about local businesses whilst developing their leadership qualities and workplace skills.
Can you offer a land based work placement opportunity? It is important that we all take responsibility for ensuring the next generation can experience the opportunities available in the land and nature sector here in Cumbria. Not sure where to start? The Centre for Leadership and Performance (CfLP) have it all worked out for you! They offer everything from creating a placement which benefits you and the young candidate, to finding suitable candidates, to staff training and mentoring.
This well established and highly managed development programme is available for young people across Cumbria who are 16 - 18. Providing an inclusive yet competitive process that enables young people to experience workplace behaviours and develop key employability skills for the future, whilst building their confidence and resilience through a supported programme of activity. Every year hundreds of young people benefit with the full programme running from September to March
Thanks to additional funding some FREE places are available to expand the reach of the programme, in particular for charities and under-represented sectors.
