Overview

Our chemistry team are specialists in A Level Chemistry. With lab equipment and space to help you develop as a confident chemist, you will gain knowledge and understanding of how medicaines are created and develop an insight into the processes behind this.You will meet new challenges and find the answers to some of today's important questions, such as; what fuels can be used to replace fossil fuels?You will learn about organic chemical concepts, study inorganic chemistry as well as physical chemistry.You will need good maths skills and should ideally be taking A Level Mathematics.

A Level Chemistry may be studied as part of a full A Level programme of 3 subjects, or a mixed programme of A Levels, BTECs and Cambridge Technicals.General entry requirements:5 GCSEs grade 9-4, including grade 5 or above in English Language, 5 or above in Maths and 6 or above in Chemistry (grade 5 considered on an individual basis).Accepted Combined Science:Grade 6/6 or above in GCSE Combined Science. Grade 5/5 will be considered on an individual basis.
