This 12-month apprenticeship is for those in a farm stockperson, hatchery assistant, farm owner (with manager), or relief stockperson role. You will gain the necessary skills, knowledge and qualifications needed to comply with poultry industry training requirements. You will gain a Level 2 Diploma in Work-based Agriculture and to support you on this journey you will have monthly sessions with expert tutors, workplace visits, end-point assessment and short courses in health and safety, manual handling, poultry welfare and biosecurity. Funding is available.
