This course at Kendal College covers preparing to dip sheep by demonstrating understanding and knowledge of legislative, welfare and environmental requirements, protective clothing, record keeping, control of external parasites, sheep diseases and dip disposal.
This is delivered as an in-college lesson in preparation for an online exam also at the college and a practical assessment on a farm. After the course, learners will be able to legally buy & administer sheep dip.
