In just one week you will create a beautiful Tri-Table (with marquetry top) designed by award winning designer William Acland. This project serves as both a stand alone piece of fine furniture as well as a fantastic teaching aid, as it covers the exciting and creative techniques of lamination and veneering / marquetry. These skills are fantastic for the furniture making beginner but they also add valuable skills to the skill set of the experienced wood worker. Not only will you create laminated components and a marquetry table top, you will also cover numerous other woodworking techniques along the way; precision jointing, accurate assembly and wood finishing, to name just a few. It’s amazing to see these sophisticated tables come together in such a short amount of time.
