Friends of the Lake District are hosting their annual dry stone walling competition at the end of May. This competition is the 1st of 6 in the Dry Stone Walling Association’s Ellwood Grand Prix.
All experienced wallers are invited to enter and there is free entry for spectators and wallers alike. Wallers who pre-enter even get a free lunch!
Why not join in and show off your skills in this important heritage craft, there are classes covering every stage in your walling journey - Novice/Junior, Amateur, Professional and Veteran. Lots of prizes and trophies available.
Alternatively go along to spectate, cheer on the competitors and marvel at their skill.
