This course is designed as an introduction to the safe domestic use and maintenance of the chainsaw. This is an ideal course for those wishing to use a chainsaw at home or in their woods specifically to clear and process wood. The course will cover how to set up your saw, maintain the chain, safe starting and cross-cutting timber that has already been felled.
This course does not cover felling and is not suitable for those people who use a chainsaw in an industrial capacity.
