Open Awards are excited to be expanding the range of apprenticeship standards for which they offer end-point assessment and are actively recruiting Lead End-point Assessors and End-point Assessors. One of these new apprenticeship standards is Level 4 Forestry Works Manager (ST1427) and they are recruiting forestry subject experts to support with this. You will work remotely to provide a high-quality independent assessment experience for apprentices and their employers. This will involve undertaking the apprenticeship end tests and experienced worker tests. These tests will be carried out online and constitute questioning the candidate about a pre-submitted portfolio of evidence and a short presentation followed by a professional discussion.
You will need to have recent relevant experience, hold a formal assessor qualification / be willing to work towards one and likewise hold a formal internal quality assurance qualification / be willing to work towards one. This is a great opportunity to get involved and share your expertise.
