

We are looking to appoint a Graduate or Apprentice Rural Surveyor to join our busy and expanding team. Ideally based in our Carlisle (North Lakes) office we are able to offer flexibility with regard to our other locations in Durham and Kendal and flexible or hybrid working is encouraged.The successful applicant will be involved in a variety of tasks including:- Assisting with the management of Rural Estates, Land and Residential Property portfolios - Valuations and AMC advice - Sales and lettings of agricultural, commercial, and residential property - Countryside Stewardship and Environmental Land Management grant advice - Farm business management - Landlord and Tenant - Advice on rural planning matters and diversification schemes - Assisting clients with compensation claims and negotiations - Renewables, biodiversity, related grants and legislative requirements - General rural practice adviceWe offer career development and progression, and a hugely experienced and supportive wider team to help you integrate. Therefore, we are willing to consider applicants at apprentice or graduate level.
If not already achieved the successful applicant will be encouraged, and supported, in their application to become a fully qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers (CAAV).
