A Farm Administrator (Farm Bookkeeper, or Farm Secretary) carries out an essential role supporting members of the farming community who do not have the capacity to manage their own bookkeeping in a world of changing rules, regulations and terminology. You may work full time, part time or on a freelance basis.

Level 3 Bookkeeping Qualification, which can either be done through distance learning or at a local college.

The Institute of Agricultural Secretaries & Administrators (IAgSA) Accredited Farm Accounting and Rural Business Administration Training Programme. 

This online course will enable you to add essential knowledge of the agricultural sector to your general bookkeeping skills, including a solid level of understanding of current issues, rules, regulations and terminology and knowledge of how to keep up to date with changing requirements. Their qualification is recognised and respected across the agricultural sector.

Membership of IAgSA also entitles you to ongoing CPD opportunities, being listed on their database and more.
