

This full-time programme is for those wishing to acquire an understanding of the construction industry, combined with practical skills, before taking up employment as a craftsperson in the industry. The programme includes a Level 2 qualification in an appropriate craft discipline. Every full-time course will include a real experience of work. Maths and English form part of this course and will be assessed at the relevant levels.
What opportunities will this lead to?

You will typically spend 4 days per week in a workplace setting with one day per week in college. With construction trades we tend to work this out as a block release, so you spend a a couple of weeks with an employer, then a week in college.
