Two free online evening sessions will look at the tools and techniques that can be used to map your data. This first session provides a broad introduction to mapping - what it is, why it is useful - and looks at the types of data that can be mapped using polygons, lines and points. Species mapping will also be looked at. The second session (on Thursday 26th February) will provide an overview of QGIS and focus on habitat mapping.
