Following the success of a similar event back in February, The Farmer Network and the NFU are again putting on a joint Health and Safety social evening hosted by the Ernest Cook Trust, this time at Low Beckside Farm, and LANSS are pleased to have be invited.

Kindly supported by the Defra Farmer Welfare Fund, there will be free food and drinks from Katie Edgar Catering and the opportunity to hear from speakers covering a variety of topics including safe handling of livestock and machinery.

As well as ourselves being in attendance to share details of relevant training opportunities, the NFU’s Farm Safety Adviser, along with representatives from Cumbria Fire and Rescue, Paragon Vets, Carrs Billington, the Cumbria Rural Crime team and RABI will all be available for a chat.
