LANSS have been delighted to support the Young Farmers’ Northern and Southern District Field Days, we also attended the Northern Area Field Day, with Cumbria Farmer Network, hosted by Cumbria Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs at Low Beckside Farm. It is fantastic to see the team spirt, skills and talent of the young people participating in a variety of events and competitions.

Cumbria Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs (Cumbria YFC) is one of the largest clubs in the country, with 25 clubs across the county with over 1,400 members. Cumbria YFC host provides a great opportunity to learn new skills, access training, take part in competitions and events and make life-long friends. It is open to everyone, you don’t have to be from a farming background to join – all you need is a sense of adventure, interest in the countryside and rural affairs, and a willingness to take part.
Cumbria YFC is part of the National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs (NFYFC), which is one of the largest rural youth organisations in the UK. Led by young people, for young people.
