LDNPA are looking for an Assistant Farming Officer to support the delivery of the Farming in Protected Landscapes (FiPL) scheme and other environmental and farming funding initiatives. The role entails helping farmers and land managers to develop strong grant applications and deliver projects that make a difference for nature, climate, people and place. This role supports how LDNPA can contribute to delivering net zero, support nature’s recovery, improve opportunities for people’s health and wellbeing as well as increase the Lake District National Park’s recognition as a great visitor destination.
