Info

Overview

The Full Cycle Project is an ecotherapy and wellbeing programme supporting local users of MIND’s services. We run our sessions at the gorgeous Hay Bridge Private Nature Reserve. Participants enjoy time immersed in nature, based around seasonal activities, mindful walks, conservation work, woodcraft, nature-based arts, and campfire cooking. We are looking for compassionate volunteers able to spend time with people experiencing anxiety, depression, or other mental health challenges. You don’t need specialist knowledge - just empathy. In return for your time, you have the opportunity to join in and help with the activities, as well as supporting the practical side of the day that ensures everything runs smoothly. For example, setting up camp, making soup on the campfire and encouraging the participants to keep the camp tidy. You will be one of a small team of enthusiastic volunteers. If you would enjoy getting involved please get in touch to discuss. This opportunity is also ideal work experience for anyone exploring a role in ecotherapy or landscape conservation. Reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed.
