Sheepdog Training is a skill area which LANSS gets asked for, there is a lot of interest in learning this skill but not too many opportunities for training. It is generally very expensive to get a dog trained and you typically send the dog away for someone else to train it. As an alternative this is an online opportunity to access online support and tutor led videos via an App.
This content is for everyone with a herding breed who wants to realise their dog’s potential. You will be shown how to train your farm dog to do the everyday tasks required as well as the finer points of trialing. Aimed at Farmers, Shepherds or hobbyists, you will be talked through the process that skilled herders Emma Gray and Ewan Irvine use to train their dogs..
