LANSS was delighted to sponsor two students to do their Centre for Leadership Performance Dream Placement at Wild Garsdale Pike. This is a charity that works with young people to give them a voice and the opportunity to explore conservation and environmental issues whilst gaining practical conservation and research experience. Why not take a look at the Placement Week Film, showcasing some of the 2026 placements and including student and host company interviews. There are a few Land and Nature Placements represented, but if you take a look at 9 minutes 25 seconds, you will see the Wild Garsdale Pike entry. Will and Sophie were tasked with creating a 6 month long social media campaign to promote the outdoors and volunteering opportunites at somewhere like Garsdale Pike to other young people like themselves. It is a lovely showcase of a supporting role that is much needed in the land and nature sector.
