Launch of New Cumbria People and Nature Network Website
Cumbria People and Nature Network has a new website. The network brings people together who are involved in delivering or supporting people and nature activity in Cumbria.
The network is currently chaired by NE, who have been instrumental in its establishment. It is part of the Cumbria Local Nature Partnership and its work is directed by a steering group of diverse organisations from across Cumbria, all with an interest in activity connecting people and nature.
It aims to:
Acting as a signposting hub for people and nature activity in Cumbria, the website offers a searchable map of people and nature activity taking place in the county, links to other networks and groups operating in Cumbria and support for volunteering and training. It also offers the opportunity to join the network and access the member’s directory, allowing you to connect with a growing vibrant community of individuals all working to connect people with nature in Cumbria. Useful shared resources are also available to download as well as signposts to the latest people and nature related events.
If you’re involved in supporting or delivering activity connecting people with nature in Cumbria and want to connect with other network members and share resources, knowledge and information visit the new website to find out more and join up.
